'Designer Wedding Show 2012'

The Bride and Groom Magazine presents the ‘Designer Wedding Show 2012’ on the 3rd of February at the Grand Ballroom, Galle Face Hotel. Held for the fourth consecutive year, this exclusive annual event will showcase exquisite bridal designs by the country’s top wedding professionals, including top bridal designers, hair and makeup artists, florists, and jewellers, bringing to light the latest trends in the Sri Lankan wedding industry.

The show which brings all the top designers to one platform, will feature the latest bridal fashions of Aslam Hussain, Dananjaya Bandara, Darshi Keerthisena, Imtiaz Hussain, Keerthi Sri Karunaratne, Michael Wijesuriya, Premshri Hewawasam, Ramani Fernando, Ramzi Rahaman,  Romesh Atapattu, Sithara Fernandopulle, Sumudu Wasantha and Thushara De Soyza. At the spotlight will be Sri Lanka’s celebrated and legendary couturier Kirthi Sri Karunaratne bringing in experience from his long and colourful journey in design. Showcased by some of the most prominent models of the country, this will undoubtedly leave the audience excited, inspired and informed.

The event decor will be done by Poru and Mal-Key Rent-A-Car is the providing wedding transport. Kamsins Designer Saree Showroom will showcase their designer collection of sarees as the Principal Sponsor of the event, whilst Imtiaz Hussain of Imtiaz Asian Designers will take part as a co-sponsor. Etv,  Efm and Swarnavahini  will be the event’s media sponsors.
